Who we are ....

David Lotton is the owner and designer of David Lotton Glass Designs. David is a second-generation artisan introduced to the art of glass making at the age of 10 by his famous father Charles Lotton. Impassioned, in 1978, David constructed a furnace of his own design and has since devoted his life to his craft. David is unique in that he has created and developed his own formulas for each color.

Aided by Quinn, it is David himself, not a crew of apprentices, who creates every piece.

From the fiery furnaces in his studio in northeastern                                          

Illinois, working against the combined challenges of heat,

 gravity and time, David’s exquisite creations take shape

through gentle coaxing and forceful manipulation of

molten glass in the ancient traditional art of glass blowing.

Many of the colors used are David's own creations.

Collectors throughout the nation treasure David’s creations. His works are on display at many fine galleries and museums including the Corning Museum, the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum, the Newark Museum, and the Houston Museum of Fine Art.

When you contact us, you will deal directly with David’s wife, Kimberly, David himself, or Warren, our Internet Technologies Manager. We take great pride in providing the highest quality work along with outstanding customer service.

Upon joining our team, we will enter your information into our database system. By doing this we can track your purchases and develop a custom sales projection based on your sales . You can call at anytime accessing this information to make subsequent ordering easy. If you prefer, you can reorder on-line 24/7 via email or fax. We provide promotional materials free of charge and you will receive a copy of David’s biography to give to the customer upon the sale of each piece. Further, we offer a CD-ROM containing high-resolution photographs of our most current designs. We have omitted the S.R.P. from the website for security purposes; Suggested Retail Prices are available upon request.

On the website, you will also find samples and information on our sons, Jeremiah and Joshua.  They have become the next generation of glass masters in the family and are creating their own unique designs daily.
